the last year I’ll be able to say I’m in my twenties…

Today was my birthday. The big two-niner.

The day pretty much went like this:
Got up and read Mrs. Dalloway for my lit class. (I was reading last night and somehow hurt my back…how does that happen?)

Went for cake!! Sara and Aliyah, two fellow grads, made me the most awesome, most tasty, from scratch red velvet cake! It came complete with candles and a song :-)

Then there was some studio time, which was supposed to consist of me making some samples, but I read for a few hours instead.

Promptly at 6, I announced to Sara, who has her studio space right next to mine, that we should hit up the grocery store and go make some homemade pizza. Yessss. We were both in need of a break for our brains, so we did.

It was during this time (also during a torrential downpour) that Bill alerted me to two boxes I should have gotten on the 19th…hmmm…no boxes…torrential downpour….

Luckily, we found them at the “fake” front door on the house here; not too wet either. Great stuff too! And Bill got me a brand new, awesome printer! My $30 printer from Target has finally had it…I got my money’s worth out of her though.

So, now I’m back to reading Mrs. Dalloway (and doing some laundry).

And I’ve started a new tradition:

I think each year, a new pic, and more add-ins. Yes….
Seems only appropriate, for my last year to say I’m in my twenties! :-)

Otherwise, busy here! I promise to post some images of the new work. I’m in research phase at the moment.
